The 5-day Training for 17 participants focused on PV off grid systems and solar pumps took place in the training center CFPTI (Centre de Formation et de Promotion de Travail Indépendant) of El Hamma that offers different possibilities for practical applications.

Consultancy and Support for the lecturers of the LIC (Lycée Industriel et Technique), Concept development and Structural outlines for future trainings and apprenticeships in the Renewable Energy Sector focused on photovoltaics regarding the different workshop target groups such as refugees, students of vocational schools, technicians, skilled employees for operation and maintenance, investors and government representatives.

 

The Summer School was organized by GIZ (German association of international Cooperation) in partnership with masen (Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy) and conducted by Renewables Academy AG (RENAC).
61 students of electrical, chemical or electromechanical engineering, master or PhD students of Physics, electrical engineering, process engineering and renewable energies of different universities and advanced technical colleges of Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, Agadir, Oujda, Meknes, Kenitra, and Tetouan attended the summer school for 5 days. 36 of them participated in the 3-days intensive workshop of conception and dimensioning of grid connected and off grid systems.

The company specializes in the renewable energy sector and is involved in equipment supply, services, support and training for companies that install sun, wind, natural-gas and biogas energy-generation-systems.

 

 

The public Authority for Electricity and Water is a governmental institution which is supervised by Ministry of National Economy that aims to provide electricity and water to citizens, institutions and facilities of all kinds. By Royal Decree No. (58/2009), the Authority had its own juridical personality, financial and administrative independency. The board of directors is composed of the Head (Secretary General of the Ministry of National Economy) and his/her deputy (Head of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water), and three part-time members appointed by decision of the Ministers' Cabinet.

 

Technical training for grid-connected and off-grid systems using the mobile training center of RENAC AG (Renewables Academy). The participants came from Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and India.

Electroconcept is a French electrician, specializing in solar systems since 2008. The 3-day workshop with the sales- and technician- teams allowed access to the solar-system market for remote areas.

The Skills Development for Green Jobs program of the GIZ (association of international cooperation) helps to develop the green skills sector but also to integrate green skills into traditional jobs and professions. The commissioning party is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

 

 

REN@EARTH project was designed by EARTH University in Costa Rica and the Renewables Academy (RENAC) in Berlin. The project is financed with funds from the International Climate Protection Initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)

Technology-specific further education seminar for engineers and technicians from the renewable energy industry and the conventional energy sector, as well as government employees, NGO’s and universities. The participants came from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama.
